aww man if you did that an LS thatd be awesome?
I didnt know 21's would fit on an LS!!

DO think Lexus is heading in a German way in the future or Lexus will do what they want.

It seems like we copy the German car manu. but they never copy us or even look at us. RIGHT?!

Anyways....my main point is that will the new GS be German like or will it have a real old fashioned Lexus feel?

Thanks

ummm.... not really a fan of those kits and setup. dunno, to me LS is a true vip car, nothing but classy stuff on it. i wouldn't try to make it look sporty, it just doesn't work out right. and yeah, i believe 21s will fit on the LS, i am not expert in that but i believe i read that before. but i would have to be very careful on the choices of course

and yes, if you look at it, lexus, infiniti, and acura, they are all heading to more bulky and european feel design

To me, thats a for real 45 year old and older market target automobile

I guess its all how you look at it. I think LS430s are fine stock. The top of line flagship Lexus, I wouldn't touch...what's the point? "ooh i got the illest fixed-up Luxury Sedan w/22s and 10-JL10w6s" uuh yah.

But hey like Guru said "Maybe its your soul you'd sell to have mass appeal".

I don't want to turn this into a debate. Its only my opinion.

The next 10 LS430s you see on the road, let me know what percentage of the drivers are under 40.
I'm telling ya...Lexus does a great job in targeting their age classes.

ps. all those picts of fixed up baller LS400/430s are all overseas

Ladies and gentlemen, it's almost decision time for me and I am genuinely torn between the GS430 and the LS430. I will be purchasing one early next year and I'm having a terrible time choosing. I have test driven both several times and have come to this conclusion. The GS430 is powerful, beautiful and fun to drive but the LS430 is elegant and sophisticated, yet it still have the power to soothe that sports car itch. Which should I choose?
Off topic but I think the new Jag looks very sweet. With 390HP...

This is the same decision I had to make last year. Granted, that was the older model LS, not the newly refreshed one. In short, I have no regrets whatsoever going for the GS.

The LS is an extremely good luxury cruiser, don't get me wrong, but it's a little too big (both in actual size and "feel"; test drive one and you'll know what I mean). It's also what I consider a cruiser, whereas the GS is a driving car. Another factor that may help is that I see a lot more LS's on the road than GS's.

You've got to go with your gut on this one. Drive them both, then ask the dealer to park them side-by-side. Walk around each and decide which one gets you more excited to think about owning. The GS was the winner for me; you'll have to make the tough choice for yourself!

I don't necessarily agree with the "for the older crowd" statement. I think it screams "Successful", not the nose in the air thing but I worked hard and here is the fruit of my labor thing. As I mentioned before, I love the look and ride in the GS430 but I have only driven the stock version. Maybe if I drive one that has been modified it might sway me that way. The beauty of the silver UL LS430 is hard to beat.
