Default Pick three cars

My son and I are planning on doing this when they come to the Sonoma Raceway in August. On the three car package, three cars, three laps each, which three cars would you pick? I’m thinking of the Lambo but am mixed on which other two, the Vette, Audi, Mustang, or one of the Porsches.

Lambo, Ferrari 488, 911 GT3 (order of excitement from good to great).

too bad you can't drive the hellcat, that would have replaced the Lambo for me.

audi is a more tame lambo, cayman is a mini 911, and the domestics are not quite as exotic as the rest - don't get me wrong, all cars are very desirable and of course my comparisons are very loose.

Not having driven either one I figured the Lambo and the Ferrari would be too similar so it’s a toss up between the Audi or the Vette and the GT3. The ride along in the Dodge for just an extra $79 seems worthwhile to learn braking points etc. I’ve worked that track as a corner worker but never driven it. When my daughter was a sports writer she had the great experience of riding behind on an AMA Superbike, (the stock rear subframe was added) and then behind Mario in a two seater Indy car and then beside him in an Audi I think.

GT3 and 488 for sure. The 3rd car is hard, my choice is between haracan and r8, probably haracan

I'd go GT3. 488, C8 Z51. A nice sampling from different countries

Would you rather have 3 replies or 146 replies? Easy choice, 1, 2, 3. 4th is back up.

I've had a fair bit of track time at Sonoma Raceway - you're in for a great day.

The Lamborghini and Ferrari drive very differently. For me, the three I would reserve would be the Huracán, the 488 and 911 GT3 RS (in no particular order).

This is tough. I would go with the 911 GT3, 488, and the R8 V10.

The Lamborghini would be tempting too. You could substitute the R8 with it.

Thank you for the cookie agression (american websites are offensively agressive when it comes to tracking). Honestly, outside of the Porsches, I have no interest in the rest of the lineup.

Cookie aggression? What?

I’ve decided on the Lambo, the Ferrari and the GT3RS. That’s a combined 1,782 HP. My son wants to try that 760 HP Shelby. Gonna be hard waiting until August! Tomorrow is my birthday so my son said this will be my belated birthday present. Love that boy!
