This car stopped for us to cross. We had a good look at it for a few seconds. For the first time I saw a car that I didn’t know who made it. I was like frozen. By the time the phone came to mind he was already passed. My boy said he saw it in his Forza. Lol. Was he right? Is it Zenvo?
saw this old MG BGT yesterday. love the proportions and simplicity.
MY brother's former best friend had one back in the 1970s. Fun to drive, and in some ways better-looking and better-done than other British sports cars of the period, but unreliable and trouble-prone, especially from the Lucas electronics.
Next vehicle if we decide to get one, exact color, length and all. I suppose I understand reasons why people don't like these but to me, just wow. Big ole' maroon red Cadillac..
Its interesting, I have come to REALLY prefer the new Escalade to the point where the previous one almost looks cartoonish to me.
yup, as we've discussed a lot, design has a way or becoming tolerable and then desirable with repeated impressions. these car companies are clever.
not only cartoonish, but just old and unsophisticated. manufacturing, materials/technology and design skills get more and more sophisticated, doing things today that were inconceivable a decade or more ago. one gigantic shift is lighting... LEDs have changed everything and given car makers massive new options they never had before for both internal and external lighting. i kinda feel sad when i see some old car with huge but crappy halogen lights.

I wasn't a fan at first but now I think they're both about equal, looks wise. A brand new sport Escalade coming down the street at you, wow. I still think the old one is the slightly better looking truck. Denali and Tahoes are 1000000% better looking however and they looked good to begin with.
Ugh, the Escalade came a long way, but it still has the proportions of an obese cow. I will never understand how some people find them appealing.
A rather dated video, but, in the TV series "Bait Car", city police often used specially-wired/equipped Escalades to attract car thieves. The lure of a joy-ride in one could be irresistible.
