I'm not sure where to ask this, so here goes. This is for my honda Accord (2009).
The passenger side power folding mirror doesn't fold. The drivers side is fine. The indicator light on the problem mirror is fine and the mirror adjustment is fine, it's only the fold function.
When I activate the switch I can here a "tick" but no noise that the motor is trying to work.
Is this motor up for replacement and would this be a big job ?
to my knowledge, it's not been damaged or forced - just worked one day and not the next.

Could be any one of several things.....as LeX2K suggests, stripped gears, a bad actuator, a bad regulator, a bad switch.

On a car that old, unless you really need the mirrors folded to get in and out of, say, a tight garage, I wouldn't worry about it, and just let it go. You might need to save the $$$$ you would spend on that repair for something that could be more important.....such as the transmission-failure-rate Accords of that vintage were known for (assuming you have an automatic)
