What went wrong with the Camaro?
GM products vary all over the place in reliability (in general, Buicks tend to be the most reliable)...but, just my opinion, I find most GM products very pleasant to drive, and some of the best values for the money. No, they don't drive like an S560, but most of them don't cost that kind of $$$$$ either.

I just in general don't like the way GM cars feel or look, I don't like their switchgear, etc.
Nothing personal aimed at you, Steve.........don't get bothered about it. It's not your fault that these cars don't go for Chump-Change, and I don't think anyone is insinuating otherwise.
Fair point. Between the mid-70s and about 2007-2010 or so, I thought most of them were junk, too....particularly interiors. When they started doing Opel-based products, though, that improved things significantly.
Check out an Encore GX, though, if you have time. Although I'll agree that some of the switches feel cheap and flimsy, particularly for the interior dome light (I leave that switch off to keep from turning the lights on accidentally and leaving them on in the daylight LOL) other switcher feels as smooth/solid and silky as on my 1965 full-size Buick Electra....which, back then, was virtually a Cadillac for a lot less money.

There was a time when everything about GM cars just somehow felt gross, but they have been improving - for instance the new Escalade easily trumps the new LC/LX, not even a comparison. As far as the Camaro, it is a good possibility that GM will discontinue it and then resurrect it after a while, hopefully not as an EV.
The only reason I dislike the current Camaro is how it looks in comparison to the Mustang and Challenger. It’s definitely the ugliest of the three to me. I don’t find them as ugly as I did when they first came out but the previous generation did look better.
The late 90’s Camaro was one of my favorite cars as a kid and I was heartbroken when they killed the Camaro after that. I hope they don’t kill it again after this one.
