I do not like the black mirrors, though. On a Lexus???
I’m good with them but there could easily be a trim with colour matched mirrors and such. Originally Posted by AJT123

I never liked it when Lexus came out with the crafted line on sedan. But after awhile that kind of design doesn't bother me anymore. On SUVs, like German SUVs, along with chromeless window frames, black mirrors look nice. Maybe they follow this trend? Originally Posted by AJT123

Black mirrors and trim like that are in. Black packages on MB are the same way

F Sport LX600 has the same option

Looks like the black mirrors may be specific to this trim, as the roof also looks to be black.Originally Posted by AJT123

They always press "off road" capacity when they advertise these trucks but I think probably 99% buy new for city and/or family hauling. So they will prioritize to meet these folks' need. For all these years I have only seen two current GX with off road modification.
The GX has certainly gotten more off-road aftermarket attention in the last few years with the rise of overlanding builds.
Plus, the TX exists for family needs now, why not push the GX more into the off-road sector as they're doing?

First time poster - I had been waiting for my Ford Bronco to arrive (due in a few weeks), but I am thinking of just waiting for the GX instead as I am in no rush. I had an FJ Cruiser as my DD for 10 years, and the wife drives a 2022 Highlander, so I have a soft spot for the Toyota family and I have no use for the Bronco's removable doors/roof. I will be eagerly awaiting the reveal. Have Lexus dealers started taking deposits on the new GX yet?
I don't believe they have but you should get your name on a list before it's too late and you're stuck in a 1-2 year waiting list.

it’s going to be a while before you can get a new GX. In the meantime, Broncos are broadly holding their value. You might consider taking the Bronco and putting a deposit on a GX anyway to see if you like the Bronco (in my experience the answer will be yes). And if/when you get the opportunity to pick up the GX, you may find the Bronco is worth more than you might expect.Originally Posted by djnemo
