It looks nice. However, I expect the A pillar to be more vertical based on the teaser unless it is an optical illusion. The frontal image doesn't seem to reflect the mirrors from the teaser.
here it is:

does nothing for me.

I'm the opposite. If it comes out looking like that (or similar) I'm a fan.

I do agree it looks close but the Lexus teaser seems to show a sharper crease running along above the door handles. Also, the doors seem more flat with another crease about 2/3rds down. All in all, probably about 90-95% accurate. Now if we could only see the interior...

Me neither but I can see how some will like - those who like LX but can't reach the tag. Looks like my hope is hopeless.

It's a dedicated off-roader. Those are supposed to have suspension travel, and the tires have to have somewhere to go when that happens. The GX is not intended to be a BOF competitor for the Subaru Forester:

That's absolutely the last thing an off-road capable vehicle needs...

You joined to make this comment? Welcome to CL. You're not wrong. GX and LX's gaps are way too much IMO. I feel I could probably squeeze my head into that LX's gap.

This is extreme and weird. But what they have is too much IMO. Are their suspension that soft? Question... can those that equipped with air suspension drive on lowered mode? If I remember correctly, BMW allows you to drive on lowered mode up to certain speed even their gaps are already reasonable.

Looks decent I guess in this render.

Definitely not an amazing design like LR Defender or MB Gwagon.

Lexus has dropped another GX teaser and a link to the June 8th youtube reveal.

I resized the image for a closeup.

I agree.

I do not like the black mirrors, though. On a Lexus???
