Anybody know where I can get a good quality Lexus sunshade? The shade that covers the front windscreen?

You want one that specifically says 'Lexus' on it Hameed? Or just a good one.

EDIT: Some old links including input on the one I got for my LS

Thanks Dave, I am just looking for a good quality shade, not necessarily a Lexus shade. I think I will buy the covercraft one.

I have both styles (the covercraft and an old circular style) and prefer the circular for one reason only... size. The covercraft is top notch quality, but it's big. I don't like having things in my back seat rolling around, so I have to keep it in the trunk, which is inconvenient when you need to use it. My old beat up circle one I stuff in the pocket behind my passenger seat in my GS in the summer.

Just another consideration.

I'll just stuff it under the front passenger seat! (Assuming it can be stuffed there!)

I'll get you a picture of it... don't think it'll fully go there without sticking out.

Note that this is the one for my LS and it may be a bit larger than the GS version, but similar.

Too thick and long to fold up under the seat, couldn't force it, here are some pics to show perspective.

I *really* like the quality of this sunshade, just want you to be aware of the inconvenience of the size of the fold up kind if you're as **** as I am with things flopping around inside your car.

Last piece of personal trauma when I took these pics... as soon as I opened the garage door a neighborhood cat chased a (newly flying) bird into my garage. I had to first attack the cat to get it to leave off the hunt, then took 15 minutes of chasing that darn bird all over the place before he'd go back out the door. At least he didn't crap on either of the black cars that I saw.

For awhile ParkPlace Lexus had one of these (with a big L) which were like the Covercraft ones. They don't any longer. Do you know of another place that has this?

I agree that it is big but since this is my daily driver and there are already 2 car seats in the back, I am used to having "things" in the rear of the cabin.

Thanks for posting up those pics Dave!! I think I will still get the covercraft and perhaps deal with the inconvenience of shoving it in the trunk instead. Inconvenient? Yes, but I guess that is the price of quality!
I just put on my 01 tail lights and now my car looks more like yours!!

I seriously want to get Tein Flex or Bilstein PSS coilovers next.............

I have one from Bookstone and it's cool because it is made from two very flexible wire circles and when you take it down you just flip it around and it becomes a small circle. I don't know it's hard to explain.

I can hide it completely in the pocket behind the front seats. I'm not sure if they still make it or if there is a Brookstone where you are.

I like my Covercraft and just leave it loose (without it's condom/cover) in the passenger seat/floorboard, turned at an angle so it doesn't slide around. Put it in the back or in the trunk when I have passenger(s).

Rarely have front seat passenger, so this solution works for me..............

Canvasworks makes nice windscreen shades custom sized to any particular car. Very reasonably priced too ($29.95).
