Well, convenience often has its price. Only, in this case, despite the hype from Tesla, this technology is not yet proven. I certainly wouldn't trust it with my life.
Why is everyone in such a damn hurry to get into a car that can drive itself? Do we have to constantly be pushing the technological envelope? It's all a bit much, especially in this case. There is literally nothing wrong with driving yourself (or riding with someone operating the car).
Actually, the concept behind that urge is quite simple.....here's nothing complex about it.
I read that full self driving isn't really full self driving. That the autosteer part for city street is still going to be delayed. And the 2016+ cars were sold as full self driving complaint for the future so no hardware updates would be needed. Now I'm reading that there will be a $1500 hardware upgrade needed for those cars.

At least I don't have to thumb through some retarded 19 inch tablet in the car to find the nearest charging station so I can waste 45 minutes just so I can drive the damn thing, which was a rip-off to begin with.
