They’ve gone up all over the world, you can’t just look at ours…there are many reasons for this, inflation being one of the biggest ones.

I've said in other threads I'm not completely against EV's. What I am against is a hasty timeline to get everyone to buy one with part of their strategy being to increase prices. Then all these companies ban ICE production when there is still clearly demand. You can't make this happen overnight but they're sure trying.
So to be clear, you are stating that the reason that gas prices (and/or the prices on ICE vehicles) are now going up is because it's part of a coordinated effort to use higher gas pricing to push people to buy electric vehicles?

The green agenda is the biggest reason. Gas prices has resulted in inflation. Everything is more expensive because of it.

Yes, about 80% of the reason.

This is completely ridiculous lol. Talk to some economists.

Gas prices have not resulted in inflation. Pumping trillions of dollars into the economy over 12-18 months is what resulted in inflation.

Let me ask you this, what do the perpetrators of this “conspiracy” have to gain?!

We landed on the moon, and the mob didn’t kill JFK lol

Absolutely right; glad you're one of the few who can see this.
It was pumping too much taxpayers money back into the economy that really caused inflation.
That the Arabs wanted to get their money back or Russian petroleum blockade - is only a small factor causing inflation.

It's obvious that the stimulus money over inflated the economy. Basically the government over reacted trying to prevent another recession during COVID...thus high inflation. Free money is never free. The current shortages are due to factories shutting down due to COVID outbreaks, something I experienced myself. I think most people understand this concept except those who love a good conspiracy

I have no more debate left in me . Redline Reviews review of the Lightning:

This truck is going to be the true turning point, bringing people in from the mainstream. I'm no truck person, but this would be a great replacement (when the time comes) for my Sienna. I would otherwise never buy a regular F-150 with it's 20 MPG's

I think you're right. I also was watching a video about the BMW i4 last night, and that too is so attractive to me because its just a BMW 4 GC that happens to be electric. i love that its not some weird jellybean.

Both of them (i4 M40 and i4 M50) are getting very good reviews. Someone on the Polestar forum went to a BMW driving event and loved both of them and is thinking of getting one for his wife. These also will bring in mainstream BMW/Mercedes buyers because they will be familiar with the interface, and the driving dynamics are also very familiar...minus the instant torque! BTW saw a Mercedes EQS yesterday up close at an EA charging station. Not a bad looking car up close, IMO of course

I saw that MB mouse looking electric yesterday. Not looking good when seen next to other cars. Pics I didn’t mind, but the S class is so much better looking.

the Ford EV is good effort

Yeah, I just can't make myself like it. Bring on an all EV S Class.

I think the SUV version looks much better. I'd rather get that.

It does have a few pluses in that it has a 500 mile range, and charges very fast at a DC fast charger. When the guy pulled in next to us, my wife and I were charging her 2020 Ioniq....talk about slow charging....60% to 90 percent in 35 minutes LOL. Anyway he pulled in, I think he was around 40 percent (the EA chargers show battery percentage info on the screen), he went into the safeway, and 15 minutes later he came out and he was nearly at 90 percent and left. We were still still in the 70 percent range LOL

I can’t think of many battery EV cars that look truly great. Always seems to be some compromise in the styling and design. The frameless window design is not great IMO. . SUVs are a little different, the new F150 looks normal which is good. I really admire that the new F150 is body on frame as well
