Its an everyday EV, and they can't build enough of them. Every EV isn't going to be "special" just like every ICE car isn't "special".

As mentioned by SW, it's an everyday EV. What's special about it is it can do the N'ring or track effortlessly and in the next moment be your daily driver, smooth as butter at any speed. Think about it: 576 hp, 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, and an MPG equivalent of 105 mpg combined! If dealerships weren't marking this up so much I would consider this

Lol at the only noise your hear is hit foot slamming on the accelerator and brake (along with the spaceship noises).

Very curious about battery stats and tire tread. Seems like those rear tires are probably ROASTED.
That's just freaking amazing! Ridiculous just about describes this LOL. I would turn off that spaceship sound, I love the sound of pure quiet as the torque kicks in

That made sense initially, but then I looked up how much it was - 50k. I don't consider it an every day car at that price point.

EVs are more expensive than ICE cars, and $50k isn't what it used to be. $50k isn't even a loaded minivan anymore.

Its a comfortable, sporty spacious EV that looks good, has good range and good performance. Thats what it is, like I said they can't build them fast enough so they must be doing something right. Compared to a Tesla Model 3 its cheaper.

Have you looked at the prices of new cars today? The average car price is $47,681. They may drop about 5 percent this year, but that's still pretty high. Check out it's competitors prices and you will see that there is not much difference. Also demand is high, which leads to higher pricing

Probably not after dealer ADM's. My neighbor who totalled her car looked at the Ioniq 5 and her boyfriend told me that with dealer mark-ups it's actually more expensive than the Model 3. Now Model 3 Performance is almost priced at what the base RWD was in December

The ADMs at Hyundai/Kia are insane...I was looking at Tellurides, still $3-7K ADMs.

They are insane, which is why the EV6 GT is currently not on my list. Take away the ADM and just give me MSRP and I would actually consider it. At this point with dealership markups it's priced the same or more than the Model 3 Performance. Given that Tesla has a superior Fast charging network, the Model 3 wins everytime

The issue is the ADMs do away with the excellent price advantage their products have. If I'm paying over $60k I'm going to get a QX60 or something not a Telluride.

It is a shame because you are right, Hyundai and Kia price their products pretty well over the competition. The ADM's take that pricing advantage away and push me to other manufactures like Tesla. The EV6 GT is damn compelling, but not at $8 to $10K above MSRP

Same with the Telliuride, at $54,000 its an amazing deal, not so much at $61,000, and you can't lease it because the ADM kills the lease.

The average price of a new vehicle is now up to $48,000.

That's exactly what I did, at the lower end of the pricing scale. Really wanted to get a Kia Seltos, but with the ADM *all* the dealers charged, getting a Mazda CX-30 at MSRP got me a better equipped car for less $$. And with a basic car for my son, I was less....picky; but the Mazda is a nice vehicle for that price point.

Yeah, its frustrating...has to be really frustrating for Hyundai too
