i typically set my cruise even a bit lower than that... but occasionally a stretch will present itself where i feel like opening it up for a few seconds and i think it's ridiculous that those few seconds can get you arrested no matter the circumstances

I just don't feel the need to do that, and I agree it should be illegal to.

like i said i'm jealous, i'd have more money if that wasn't a priority of mine... i need that bit of thrill on a consistent basis or i start getting bored, the LS and E also start sounding really good once you get to that 3500-4000 rpm zone and you can't get the sound without the speed!

Agreed. And neither was my best friend in high-school. We loved cars...not speed.

I like speed too, I just don't feel the need to abuse public roadways to experience speed. There's a time and a place for everything.

You can experience speed on a track, which I've done, on a boat which I do...lots of ways.

Interesting thread, yes the Mustangs have a bad rep. I saw one recently that had his grill redone to look like shark teeth lol (inside joke for the unfortunate crowd plowing).

I'm guilty of going over the speed limit in my 25 year old 8XXhp Toyota whenever I drive it

On the empty US-95 northwest of Vegas, I've taken my truck up to 120.
