This is regarding my 2017 AWD RX350. Since Lexus doesn't promote AWD emblem on car, how do towing operators acknowledge a proper way to tow my AWD without visual information? Could a car featured with auto parking brake be towed without dolly?
I have not experienced any abnormalities like a warning light, vibration or noises after the towing. This is my first AWD, I am a freshman in this territory. I just need peace of mind knowing negligence could be avoided without much effort. Is there anyone who had a similar issue before?

It's very easy to see if a vehicle has a rear differential and half-shafts. On most Hondas, I can tell if it's FWD or AWD from 200 feet behind, driving on the highway. For the RX you might have to actually duck your head and peek.
Most of the makes put AWD emblem on car, except for Lexus. My concern is if the towing operator has patience or knowledge before making a move if the information is not instantly available, unless the move could be burdened by hardship.

Very simple. It's not difficult to simply bend down, look under the vehicle, and see if there is a drive-shaft and/or rear differential going to the rear wheels. If not, it is obviously a FWD. Any tow-truck driver with half a brain should be able to do that in his (or her) sleep.

Thats what your paying for in a "quality" tow company...silly as that sounds. If thats not the first thing the persons doing when he or she arrives, thats when you as the customer, might step in for your in sake unfortunately. Usually though, even with 4wd badges, a person who doesnt care, will not care either way./
For your tow, was the vehicle in Neutral at least, and did you get any weird traction errors?

Lexus puts AWD emblems on their AWD cars, just not their AWD SUVs for some reason.
I don’t think it’s an issue. Tow operators don’t want to damage cars because they have to pay to repair them if they do. Almost all tows nowadays seem to be flatbeds anyways

Lexus GX and LX are always full time-4WD, in every US region, there’s never been a 2WD GX or LX sold in the US since the very first LX. Only RX had 2WD availability. I don’t think I consider the UX an SUV.
