Alex on Autos on the X7... gushing...
Hs reviews average about a half hour.....between 28 and 31 minutes. Don't forget, this is a large, complex vehicle, with a lot of things on it to review and explain.
Do you like it enough to actually replace the Pacifica with it? You don't have to tell us what your income is (and it's probably none of our business), but payments on both an LS460 and X7 would be quite a sum each month.....in addition to mortgage.

It wouldn’t be a replacement for the Pacifica, it’s too expensive. If I were to buy an X7 it would be a replacement for the LS.
I don’t want to spend more than $50k on the Pacifica replacement.

A guy I went to high school with, many decades ago, was selling BMWs out at Sterling, next to Dulles, but, by now, I suspect he's retired. If not, though, he might be a good contact for a new X7. I did my last 335i, 640, 550i, and Mini Clubman/Countryman reviews there.
Someone I know is asking to buy my SRT Durango (my lease is up in one year) and I am trying to figure out what to get next that is similar in size, not too big and not too small with 3rd row seating. It looks like the X7 fits the bill and I really like the M50i so I will have to test that one out.
It looks really nice when I configured it on the BMW website and the deals are pretty good right now. The only thing I don’t like is the dash looks exactly like my M340 and I get why they do that but I like when manufacturers make things a little more unique with each model. It makes it feel a little more special. The other thing is the digital gauge cluster just doesn’t fit this vehicle. It’s already kind of an abomination but at this price level it should be better.

They just released the first ever Alpina version!
The 612-hp X7 variant starts at $142,295.
