That is probably the biggest battery in Toyota hybrid to date and reason Highlander gets 24hp more electric (?).

Also likely a reason why almost every review wrote how speed is comparable to v6 and why there is no reason to pick v6 over it, which is definitely interesting.

Next Toyota hybrids might start getting extra pickup from electric motor, that 20-25hp extra will be noticable as it is instant.

a lot of this a function of the android auto or apple car play app itself, not the vehicle. They make the one size format so it fits both the large and smaller screen models in the same vehicle. In the Ram its only the top half of the screen as AA/CP. There are not many portrait orientation screens either in vehicles currently. They would have to make the AA/CP software dynamic so it can adapt to any screen size

Lots of good reviews out today.
The 2019+ RAV4 Hybrids are only about $800 more than the gas model of equal trim. When you factor in an extra 10mpg, it's hard to pass on the hybrid version, based purely on economics.

Somehow Toyota can display carplay across the entire screen of the exact same size on Lexus vehicles...

My aftermarket Carplay in my LS fills the whole 12.3 inch screen.

The software is actually already dynamic.

Please gentlemen, realize that suvs make for terrible vehicles to own. That is because sedans are available.
We’ve been super happy with ours. Not a terrible vehicle to own by any stretch.

Some people just like SUVs over cars. I know 3 buddies that own full size pickups that never use the truck as a truck. Doesn’t concern me, different strokes for different folks. 👍

First off, there are female users on here, so not just 'gentlemen'. Second, you're entitled to your opinion, but that's what it is, not a fact.
millions of people find suvs great to own, because sedans aren't adequate for them, or even if they would be, they find other aspects of suvs more appealing like higher seating position, easier to get in and out, etc.

bro is looking at a new crossover next year and the palisade limited or highlander hybrid platinum is at the top of the lists now. Will be checking them out next month at the Houston Auto Show. To the disappointment for some he will not be looking at a sedan

It just gets more and more bizarre lol. SUVs from Hyundai are exempt.

Yup, we’ll take a Hyundai SUV, but not Toyota. Interesting opinions he has. Oh well, back to my Sunday. Merry Christmas 🎄

I wonder if SUV's from Kia have the same exemption? Lol. The Palisade is arguably better looking. This whole thing is making less sense.

Some seriously stellar fuel economy. And it has 243hp. Just for reference, my V8 iForce makes 235.
