Didn’t see a thread on this... went to see it today. Loved it!

from portrayals of legendary Carol Shelby (played by Matt Damon) and his friend, british race car driver Ken Miles (played by Christian Bale) to portrayals of Henry Ford II, Lee Iococca, Enzo Ferrari, and others, it’s definitely a real nostalgic car and racing movie! It covers Ford’s decision to get into racing (vs Ferrari who had won several Le Mans in a row) and work to make the Ford GT competitive. Won’t include spoilers here.

anyway, if you haven’t seen it, I recommend it!

 

I also saw it today. The GT40 and even the replicas are automotive ****

 

movie was amazing, be sure to watch it in a theater with upgraded audio. The audio in the movie is excellent

be sure to check out the Shelby American documentary on Netflix too

 

My wife and I loved it. Great film.

 

I saw 3/4 of it on opening day. We enjoyed it. I didn’t care for the racing scenes but the story and back story was fascinating. Interesting ending. I also did not see the final end happenings coming on the test track.

Great movie- went to see it in local IMAX

 

Saw it on IMAX opening weekend, really well shot racetrack scenes and good performances all around

 

Christian Bale really morphs into his acting roles, great actor IMO.
