Good Post.
Yes, Alex is a natural at something like this. He gives good, practical information for everyday car buyers.......not like much of the rest of the auto press, which IMO is deeply into sport-orientation.

Hey, he's a human being. How many times have you said "Um", when asked something?
I'd still put his knowledge (and abilities) above probably 95% of the rest of the auto press. Lexus Test Driver

Um...I'm sure you're right. He is good about his cars. Originally Posted by mmarshall

I have watched him for years, but I will admit sometimes, I doze off while he is on. He's is very informational based; sometimes its just nice to have witty banter or something. Micah Muzio (from KBB), Throttle House, and the Straight Pipes are much more entertaining, while giving most of the same information, maybe with less detail.

I think Throttle House is the best now because they have real track information. Plus Thomas can out drive any of the other reviewers outside of Chris Harris.Originally Posted by RXSF

I zone out when watching AoA too unless it's a vehicle I'm seriously interested in and considering buying.then I usually appreciate the detail. I enjoy Micah Muzio too. He sometimes may get a little too wacky but overall I like his style.Originally Posted by RXSF

He says "um" less in the actual video reviews because video editing, which he doesn't have on the live segments. Originally Posted by EZZ

Haven't watched one yet, as I tend to shy away from that type of content because of how long it takes to consume, but I might give it a go. I generally like watching AoA because of how it seems very average-driver oriented and not entusiast-oriented, as well as the level of detail.

Same, if I'm interested in learning the ins and outs of a car, I'll watch AoA, but otherwise it's a no go for meOriginally Posted by LexBob2

In general I find these "LIVE" YouTube shows painful to watch.
