If its functional thats fine. If its not its also fine. M3/4 move units regardless of the crazy design options.

 

The problem for me is, it don't look like a BMW anymore?? It's not unique BMW.

Put these kidney grills on the waiting list to be removed before it's even released.

 

Happy I bought my 2018 M3 - this looks absolutely horrendous!

Worse than the Bangle butt and eye lids for E60 5series.

 

Well that is just a render so maybe it won't look like that. If so BMW has gone mad.

 

Unfortunately the insiders on the BMW forum said to expect significant departure and very controversial styling.....

Not sure why companies mess with design???
Porsche 911 - Evolution, still #1 in sales
Mustang - Evolution, still #1 in sales
Camaro - new ugly styling, sales down the toilet

BMW M3 and M4 have sold in huge #s historically and outsell their immediate competition by vast margins.
If you want to do radical styling, use the i brand not ///M......

 

I like it! Somehow with the additional intakes/openings, the overall styling works. Better than the 7-series (or X7) grille.
