WORST drivers by Make and model.
Keeping you honest Marshall, this is what you said.
LOL. You could not be more wrong. I've seen a LOT of Mustangs wrecked over the years from aggressive driving, and a lot of people hurt or killed in them. Funerals and gravesites are not perceptions or opinions, but facts.
Yes, there are a lot of responsible Mustang drivers, too......I never implied there weren't. But it is definitely a car that has more than the average number of aggressive drivers...which is why insurance is expensive for them, particularly for young males.

We could have a separate thread on clapped out Altimas if we wanted. Of course it’s all anecdotal but it just seems like every time I see a crappy Altima driver the car is all banged up with dents all over, scratched up paint and mismatched bumpers or bumpers falling off or held on by tape. I was behind one the other day that was driving crappy and of course I could see the edge of the front bumper flapping around. I saw a two of these on the same drive. Other one was all scratched up on the side and the corner of the rear bumper was dented in but this driver was driving normal.
and biases.
... based on what you see, in your pretty limited driving area, and memories of the past.
i also see plenty of mustangs on the road, and i don't see them being driven any more recklessly than anything else. do they sometimes use all that power to pass or leave a light quickly? sure. but y not.
for me, i probably see more trucks being driven in a bad way than anything. but that's also because there's so many trucks on the road so of course i'm likely to see more 'morons' driving them.
i especially love (not) the truck drivers who tailgate, figuring their hideous giant size will intimidate the car in front of them.
and many big suv drivers also seem to have that 'own the road' mentality.

And that's the purpose of this thread......for commenters to share with the group the makes and models that they have MOST seen being driven by morons.

I get tailgated a lot by big SUVs. It typically happens on city streets in moderate to heavy traffic, so there is really nowhere to go. I generally accept that if a fast stop is necessary, I am going to get rear ended.
Got cut off today bad and had to slam on my brakes and missed the light.
Not a soul behind me but a man in a Dodge SUV felt it necessary to change into my lane to run a light and pulls right into a convenience store 100 feet after the light.
Rant over. Lol

I almost got killed by two Kia Sportages involved in a road rage battle. One stopped dead in the middle of the road in front of the other one dragging the whole road to a stop. I had an ABS panic stop behind him and the car behind me had to dive off over the sidewalk behind me. Then the one that got brake checked tried to pass the one that stopped in the oncoming traffic lane, I held my horn down and that seemed to snap them

So, yeah, back to cars. A neighbor introduced himself early this year because he has a Supra, which is rare in that it’s an automatic. I think it’s a ‘93 and he inherited it from a family member who bought it new. He also has a Corolla GR. I haven’t had a chance to talk to him much about his impressions of the GR. It’s his daily driver. He came over because he saw my brother’s 1994 NSX and was intrigued. He was also interested in my AE86, which I need to get back on the road. So, I mentioned four cars and did not leave the house yesterday or today, so no complaints about any other motorists.
I've had a few stupid incidents involving Teslas recently. Specifically, the one that stands out to me is this. I was approaching a red light on a four-lane road in the far-left lane when a Model Y pulled out onto the street from the right. I was already slowing down, thankfully, but the Tesla very slowly creeps into the far left lane, where I am, only AFTER I am already just about even with them, forcing me into the left-turn-only lane for a moment to let them come in. Then they very slowly crept up to behind the car in front of them. I'll see if I can find the dash cam footage. They stayed in that lane for a couple more lights before making a left... so, not sure they needed to do that. I think they just flat-out didn't see me. In a bright-red car.
Thanks.....I'm glad you mentioned Teslas.
One thing I had forgotten to mention in my earlier posts is that perhaps some of the worst drivers of all are in so-called "Self-Driving" vehicles that are not, in fact, entirely self-driving, have incomplete or flawed technology, and these drivers are asleep in the back seat or so self-absorbed in what they are doing that they aren't even watching the road. Under those circumstances, almost anything can happen.
Of course, there are other self-driving vehicles that do not have the Tesla nameplate, but Tesla makes the lion's share of them.

I myself have seen people back into other people's cars in parking lots, cause damage, and just drive off without even leaving a name, number, or insurance company....thinking that no one else saw them. When possible, I've gotten the tag numbers of both vehicles and gave them to the police....and, if possible, gave them to the person who owned the car that was the victim.
Did you get their plate-numbers? Or manage to post any videos of wha happened? The police might be interested in seeing them.

I drive a bright red truck and I've been rear ended twice. Luckily my hitch destroyed both radiators and my truck had nothing but some slight cosmetic damage to the bumper.
I have 4 jobs, a wife and two kids and you have none of each, you have way more free time than me lol
