Default non-renewal

I dont really think they can do that...
Trust me. They can and they DO. My guess is that if the CL55 is part of a fleet account, Progressive might not be so quick to let it go b/c it's still pretty lucrative for them. I would expect a rate increase at the least tho.

It might not seem fair, but the insurance carriers are in business to MAKE MONEY. You dont make money by collecting a few grand in premium and paying out $100,000+ for a new CL55. If they think for one moment that youre a bad risk..... .

It still doesn't make sense to me that they can label a person that just happened to get caught in a flash flood(no fault of his) a bad risk, and use that as an excuse to increase his premiums.

Well, This is the deal. My car will be completely paid off by my insurance company. They are paying off $71,562.00.. I put $10,000.00 down when I purchased the car, so its not that bad. I have decided on a 04 M/B S55 AMG in Silver. My insurance is only going up $1200.00 per year (so thats not bad considering its for the whole fleet). Good news! My HP Ipaq was in a leather case that is lined with foam, and I didn't relize it is almost water tight.. So it was actually on the back floorboard of the car and the Ipaq still works just fine...

When you say "Gosh, its just an Ipaq"... you have to consider that my ipaq has 1000+ phone numbers in it and contacts... Those are priceless to me. The car can be replaced.

Nope, wouldn't have worked.

My g/f was driving it to work, plus, the rain was sudden and hard.. Didn't know I was going to be caught in it like that.

Plus, I would rather her be safe in the H2 than her being caught in the M/B

SClexus 3.0

Where are you located in FL and what type of business do you do with all those fleet vehicles?
