Getting Lexus 20% off service emails
It's been 2 1/2 yrs. since I've brought my car to a Lexus dealership for service. When I got my car used, I was willing to pay for the brake fluid flush and coolant (found out it's drain/fill not exchange), because the prices sounded ok over the phone ($79 and $149). The real oddity is I remember paying $59 and $119 respectively, contrary to what I was quoted. My mom paid Acura $129 for a brake flush, so $59 is cheaper than a muffler shop. I do both of these myself now, however.
I wonder what the push is today to email these coupons, again, it's been 2 1/2 yrs. If you had to use the dealer, or you do use the dealer, 20% isn't bad. There are gonna be some services you can't DIY and the delta is not big over an indie, where this could work. Nothing I can think of though. Just putting it out there that I would think all dealers are gonna email these offers, since they all match one another anyway.
edit maximum $200, promo code DC1 if that means anything
