Clint Eastwood drives a 95-97 LS400
This is just a gossip column from a day or so ago about Clint Eastwood.

The first few photos I thought, "Man, that's an old Lexus." Then there is a video attached to this that shows him drive off, you can barely catch a glimpse of it but it is indeed a 95-97 LS, you can tell from the stodgy headlights (cleaned up nicely for '98) and the power antenna. You can tell it's a V8 Lexus just by hearing it start. (Engine sounds like it's running a little rough, or maybe it's just me.) I assume this is his car, it makes sense. He's old and conservative.
As a huge fan of the man I thought this was pretty neat. Look at the video attached in this article.

Ha, Ha. From the image he has portrayed in films for decades, you'd think he would drive either a converted police cruiser or a Hummer H1.

jeez is that what he has to deal with wherever he goes?
with that level of stress following you everywhere i can see why he still insists on retreating to the serenity of an LS 400 to get away from it lol

Lol at your last sentence. As far as I know he lives permanently up in Marin County area, but I'm sure has a house in Los Angeles. My guess is he keeps that trusty old LS in the garage there.

These US Government guys sure like (old) Lexus cars! I'd probably drive a Suburban or something if it were me. Not going to be a symbol of America and drive a Japanese car.

On Clint Eastwood, wasn't he just caught with Mick Jagger's 23 y.o. ex g/f in his car? these guys are larger than life for good reason lol

Ok, Carl Bernstein comes to mind. The guy dated Mick Jagger's wife. Do you really think a rock star today, can do what a rock star did in the 70's? I highly doubt it. I'm too young to have experienced what they did, but I am pretty sure my son is going to experience far less than I did.
