I might believe part of this in a stretch (I've heard of a few other vehicles going a million miles), but I'm not sure I believe the 700K on the original spark plugs......that may be just click-bait. Even on the best platinum plugs, the electrodes would be burned up long before that.

I agree. Spark plug probably caused the Head Gasket to to go kaput. Hopefully we get much more details on this Tacoma soon.

Interesting how his Taco is a American made model. Also, he extended his oil change intervals to 10k instead of 5k.

As one would expect, they are way ahead of us on that posting. But not all of them seem to be laughing.

You and I both know to claim a set of shocks and bushings (various) will last 1.2M miles is just complete and utter BS. I won't even get into it. If someone actually believes this, there is no point in arguing with them about how far fetched this is.

Agreed.....but I have an even harder time believing that spark plug electrodes will last 700K miles. And even if they did, the plugs and their threads would be burned into the engine block so hard that they would probably have to be drilled out, and the block re-threaded.
