The exterior changes on the refresh reminds me of what happened to the 4GS, but the opposite. Pretty big changes, but the G90 went less sporty looking. Borderline Chinese luxury knockoff style, but that might not be a bad thing if Genesis is catering to a demographic that wants that old school soft luxury. China loves that. Hopeful to see it in person, but unlikely. Still a great bargain overall.
Looks good on the surface......I hope it's as solidly-built as the 1Gen was, which, IMO, was quite impressive by today's standards. Auto companies, these days, have a tendency to use ever-thinner materials on each redesign. We'll find out, though, at the shows.
It is NOT released in the U.S. as i believe you know. That’s why it’s being released at the LA Auto Show.
That is an odd thing. I was under the impression the G90 was announced but not released/available . So it appears they “announcing” it at the L.A. Show. A very odd thing to do for a model not available in the United States but available elsewhere in the world. Usually it is the other way around.
I don’t know how many countries the G90 is sold in. Canada probably got the 2020 sooner because of less red tape, shocking i know.
It is very odd because the 2020 Genesis G90 was announced in Feb 2019. Pics, specs and everything. Perhaps at the L.A. Show, a new engine or something might be revealed.
