Engage Brain before shifting into gear.
These videos are classic reasons why one's brain must shifted into gear along with the transmission....especially with high-powered sports cars and exotics. (Warning....may be NWS. The videos have some four-letter words)
Some years ago, this actually happened to me and a close friend (and co-worker) of mine, when we were walking along the side of the road near his house. Two young guys came racing down a long, steep driveway at a right (T) angle, tried to make the sharp 90-degree turn much too fast, hit a sharp drainage-bump on the side of the road, lost it, spun, hit the curb, and missed me and my friend by maybe 20-30 feet, and came to a stop maybe 100 feet from us. The unibody frame itself was all bent out of shape, and two wheels destroyed....probably totaling the car. We rushed over to help...but the guy behind the wheel was in a state of mental shock, and just kept banging his fist on the steering wheel, ignoring us...the guy sitting next to him said it was his Dad's new Nissan 300ZX. It was even more interesting...because at the moment we saw this accident happen, we were talking about insurance-rates on a ZX....my friend liked them, and was considering buying one.
(Steve, since you live in the area, you might know where that spot is......Argyle Park, on Forest Glen Rd., in Silver Spring, just a couple of blocks East of Holy Cross Hospital).

I have never seen it personally, but I understand this also happens quite often with Mustang jocks, as they try to show off when leaving their car-shows and meets. I have seen Mustang jocks, though, as I was driving, do a lot of dumb things on the road.

If the traction control and/or stability system is turned off or inoperative, stepping ON the gas too hard can also have unwanted results.
Disputes like that can often turn into (unnecessary) tragic results. Where I live, the local court-dockets have their share of road-rage cases....some of them serious felonies.

also the silver ferrari at 1:45 was done on purpose lol, there was a dispute with a customer over a repair bill i think
Perhaps this is the reason God invented motorcycles. Natural Selection takes out the testosterone-poisoned young males before they can reproduce.
Drove a bike (turbo'ed Honda) in LA for many years, saw lots of examples.

hmm, i thought it was Heinrich and Wilhelm Hildebrand... but yes that natural selection is good stuff. mainly though, are you suggesting that riding on a motorcycle is the safer option to driving in a car?
I don't think God enjoys seeing young men (or anyone else, for that matter) injure or kill themselves or others, or wreck their vehicles, because of stupid actions behind the wheel. And testosterone does not necessarily mean idiotic driving.....I was physically strong and petty good at sports myself at that age (particularly football), but had enough sense to take it easy on the road. I've also known some young women (though generally fewer in number than with males) who were equally stupid behind the wheel. One of them I even dated briefly...though that relationship did not last very long.

To me, it sounds like a sick plot for a very bizarre z-movie.

Okay, perhaps my comment about God inventing motorcycles was a touch over-the-top. But there's a very strong correlation between young males and stupid, aggressive behavior. Just take a look at insurance rates for young males compared to young females. The guys are doing what young males of any species do, they are trying to impress the opposite sex.
Okay, so much for Biology101. Now back to cars.
