How to Properly Lower Your Car
By Christopher Hurst

Thinking about slamming your car? It might look great, but these are obstacles you might run into. Lower your car the smart way.

i laugh when people change their springs without changing shocks, then complain their shocks get blown and worn out. Shouldve did it correct the first time, but instead have to do two installs and two alignments. Not only that, then later they complain about inner tire wear.

I have a '06 GS300 AWD, with BC coil overs and 18-inch rims. I'm experiencing in gear front vibration when stopped at a light or stop sign? I knew going into this build of the possibility, but I took the risk, but that was many years in the past. Has there been any advances that can get rid of the vibration? Another question, where can I get info on the ride height and possible driveline specs for the car? Lastly, our thoughts are to have custom axles fabricated, we know the dimensions of stock axles but is there a formula to calculate what size axles to use in coordination with the amount of drop? Thanks for your time.
