Default Looking for opinion on springs/shocks combo

Guys, here's the deal. I do not want to lower my car, I want the stock ride height. I was thinking of going bilstein sport shocks and keeping stock springs. What should I expect from such combo, any negative effects?

IMO, even though you don't want to lower the Eibach offers you so much gain by just going .08-1 lower. As long as you're taking everything apart......

As far as shocks, the Bilstein HD is a pretty good choice. I think the Bilstein HD, KYB (both direct replacement closest to OEM) or Monroe SensaTrac would be good choices.

Well I really dont want camber/lower ball joint issues like many are having with lowered setups.

u shouldnt have camber/lower balljoint problems with a slight drop! go 1-1.5" and you'll be ok.... just make sure u get your regular alignment after putting the shocks/springs on.

Guys, thanks for all of your feedback, but I'm really not looking to drop it, whether its 2" or 1/4". I want to keep stock ride neight, and just looking to know if sportier shocks in combination with stock springs will provide any benefits. Right now I'm leaning towards Bilstein sport shocks.

shouldn't be a problem. bilstein is a good brand, let us know how it turns out if you get them.

OP has not even said what he wants/expects.

Uh, if you want 0 changes, then stick with stock.
Otherwise you need to indicate what you want to improve.

If you want stiffer handling/reduction of body roll, then the 2 most effective ways are to get sways and shocks.

How stiff you really like depends on you though.

It is my understanding that the Bilstein Sport shock is meant to be used with lowering springs. If you want to use the stock springs the Bilstein HD shock is recommended because of the longer suspension travel that can occur with stock springs.

You might want to check with Bilstein on this.
