If I could get a NSX for 4K

This has been my dream car for 20+ years. I remember searching the NSX and had several options 10 or so years ago. 20K+ for a NSX was easy to find for my dream car. It is still my dream car and I have lost hope with owning one. I would buy a Porsche Cayenne Turbo for the money now.

$4000 for that seems awfully cheap what gives.

Sorry to burst the bubble.
All of their listings appear to have pretend pricing.
They have a 2011 MDX for $2500 (in your dreams is correct).
Thy must have an internet guy who majored in clickbait.

The problem is finding a fully stock example that hasn't been modded with supercharger or gaudy body kits. When I was searching for our LS a few months ago I also considered a Porsche Cayenne. The place that had the Cayenne specialized in exotics and their garage was full of Ferraris, Lambos, Aston Martin, and a 1997 NSX-T. It was a dark forest green, but hey it's still an NSX. Asking price was $40K. I should have asked to test drive it but I knew we weren't buying it so I just stared at it. The closest I've come to being in one was riding in a coworker's 2002 NSX, but it was slammed to the ground with a bunch of other mods. I still love the original NSX but its performance is easily eclipsed by modern cars, and almost by the LS, lol (well, at least on a straightaway). The NSX is timeless and still a beauty. If I could realistically entertain the idea of getting one, I might go with a Boxster instead. Or maybe I would get the NSX first, just to check it off the bucket list, then sell it after a few months and get the Boxster. So many good cars I'd like to experience in so little time. I do admire what Sochiro Honda and HMC was able to showcase with the NSX though and love the engineering that went into the car's development. Loved reading all about it in:

Always liked the Supra Turbo, aunt had one.....I would skip the Cayenne Turbo, but a GTS with a 6 spd manual would be quite a find....though Porsche is quite the elusive dream. I saw 2 '12 Turbos, one was an S, at the indie, with the motors out. I was wondering cars that new, how come not at the dealer....also saw a 87 944 Turbo and told the owner boy would I like to drive that daily, and he said without a smile, no you wouldn't....NSX sweet 4 sure

Never drove NSX but from all accounts its still great even compared to modern sports cars just no loger has the performance of today's supercars.
Its a car you can buy now for 50-60k in good condition, drive for 5years and then sell it for what you originally paid or even make a bit on it.
Not a bad choice imo. Much better than spending $200k on new NSX.

If i were you would keep it unless you get something that holds value just as good with better performance - not too many cars. Maybe 997 GT3, 991 GT3/GT3RS, Ferrari 458.
