Good thing this interior designer doesn't work for Lexus. This might be the most hideous interior I've seen, there is a thing as too minimal, I would hate driving this thing. I don't care how much torque this car may have off the line, and its 40k. I honestly have never been a fan of Tesla, especially the interior but this one takes the cake.
This is apparently how the final one is going to be, sorry to any of those who preordered one. I'll stick to .
Looks a little too simple. I don't see any buttons on the steering wheel which means anything I want to do would be on the screen- a possible accident waiting to happen.

I might get beat up on here for my comments. I love it! While I am not fan of Toyota or Lexus hybrids, I think Tesla models are so cool. I love the interior of this for an electric car. Even better for me is the Toyota Mirai, I simply think the looks, interior, quality (from the one I sat in) and technology is just mind blowing. I would totally get one even for the inflated purchase price.

Smart comment.

Lol, The current Tesla interior is already a joke for a car costing 100-150k.
It's cool that they are pushing a completely new platform and the cars are badass in their own rights. I had the pleasure of being in several Teslas including 85,90, and recently 100D and they are monsters, but yeah I don't think the buyer for this car is only looking for quick acceleration. At a lower price, most of the big luxury sedans completely blow this thing out of the water in everything BUT acceleration.
