I've not been that impressed with the current version, but this new one looks like a great improvement. I really like this.

As much as I like digital screens, I miss analog tach and speedo gauges sometimes

It'll be a fantastic car. The rear looks super ugly though.

I like the look of the dual exhaust and LED taillights.

What on Earth were they thinking with that gauge-panel behind the steering wheel? That alone could be a deal-breaker for me....if I were in the market, I'd probably grab up an end-of-year 2016.....like the one below.

At least it does not have that ridiculous push-button/rocker-switch gear selector of the Pilot. But look at that central display monitor. The glass surface is so large, yet the actual viewing area is so small. Look at all that wasted real estate on both the left and right sides. Could Honda not have placed those soft switches/icons to that bit of space above the volume dial?

I knew the volume dial would come back -- it was just history repeating itself. Twenty-something years ago, the Gen1 Ford Contour / Mercury Mystique had radios with rocker switches to adjust volume, rather than a round dial. Not too many years later, the dial found its way back.

At one time, Honda was known for its simple but highly effective ergonomics.

Uh oh... Look at that black, unpainted plastic rear bumper. How many people will complain about that -- more or less than the number who complained about the black plastic rear bumper on the pre-facelift current-generation RAV4?

Yep....this was once a classic Honda ad. I still remember it well.

the new one may be configurable with different displays (like my jeep), as it looks like it's one big lcd, not mechanical gauges, so maybe we should wait until we see if that's the case. on my jeep i can have 'dials' or numbers.
