What a refreshing surprise.... new engine w/o a redesigned model. Reminds me of the 3GS 3.0 to 3.5 V6 one model year into it.

well, as we know, Toyota alone is doing 14 new engines this year, they are by far in refreshed vehicles, very few are all new. Some just got new engine without MMC.

Oddly enough with the LS DMS you can't run COMFORT and ECO together, you can only run them independently. They should add a COMFORT+ that can run both if the driver desires.

seems like RX has custom mode, which lets you configure it way you want...

the gs is getting facelift this year so it should be no surprise on es

looks like it's becoming more aggressive too

Maybe available in Vehicle Customization Settings in future Lexus's, we can hope

The headlights remind me the new IS, and I have no doubt the interior will improve just like the new RX.

well, it is just MMC... so maybe they do nothing to the interior... agreed on headlights, it is IS, with a twist.

IS with a twist? It looks more like GS refresh

The AVS improves the ride quality on the NX significantly as well, even with the firmer F Sport suspension.

they look like they took IS headlights as a base and then run L through them.

2016 headlights have completely different shape and look.

If they update that engines across the board it will be interesting, imagine a Camry V6 with 300 HP !

True but unlikely. This will allow Lexus to put a bit more distance between the ES and Camry on paper with the ES offering more power and nearly the same mpg.

i wouldnt be so sure... if Tacoma is getting new V6, I doubt Camry is going to be left behind... question is probably just when...

As much as I would love to think the is and gs will get updated engines they would also have to update the rc engine as well and didn't that just come to market?

They could also use the new 2.0 T engine in the Camry (or for that matter the ES as well), however since the Camry went through significant changes recently I doubt if the engine updates are coming this year.

Toyota has said that new engine in the Tacoma is a truck series engine which is not the same as the 3.5 V6 in the Camry - not sure what that means. Either way it will be nice to finally see some engine updates in the Lexus / Toyota line up.

why would you prefer 2.0t to new 3.5l V6? I wouldnt. Hopefully they leave V6 inside, at least this generation.

As to Tacoma, if Tacoma is getting new generation engine, Camry will get it too, they are not going to leave Camry behind, it is in most competitive class.
