Default Help!!!!

Hey all,
Have a 2008 Lexus is250. 37k miles. When I got home today from a long drive to and from work (120 miles), I noticed a loud sound almost a banging sound when my car was in neutral. It's a manual model. Had my neighbor and brother in law listen to the car. They both said the water pump was bad. I have ZERO warning lights on in my dash. Car has not overheated etc. Heater does take some time to warm the car. Question, I have to go to and from work tomorrow (120 miles), before being off for the holidays. Is it safe to drive with no warning lights on? Have an appt with my mechanic for Friday. Thanks so much!

Ditto. You'll do more damage and end up stranded on the side of the road. Drop it off and get a loaner.

don't drop it off -- have it towed if you have no idea what's wrong with it. you don't want to wind up causing more damage.
