Official: Nissan Teases New Pickup Truck, Could be the 2015 Navara / Frontier
Just a few hours ago, Nissan posted a photo of what appears to be a new pickup truck model on their Instagram account with the following caption: "There's a special member of the Nissan family on the way. Due date: June 11th".
The car is displayed on Nissan's global page, which makes us think it could be the replacement or an updated version of the Frontier mid-size pickup truck, otherwise known as the Navara. Alternatively, it could be related to the bigger Titan, but Nissan has said it will be likely revealed at next year's Detroit show.
There's not a lot we can see behind the white drapes, only the modern (LED?) daytime running lights and the silver air intakes located just below, but we'll give you an update as soon as something new comes up.

Nissan teases a mysterious new model, will be unveiled on June 11th
Appears to be a new pickup truck
Nissan has quietly released a mysterious teaser image on Instagram.
The company didn't have much to say about the model but they confirmed plans to introduce a "special member of the Nissan family" on June 11th. That's not much to go on but the model appears to be a pickup with LED-infused headlights and a chrome grille.
There's no word on what the model is but Nissan is working on a new Frontier and Titan. The company has been relatively tight-lipped about the Frontier but the company recently introduced the Frontier Diesel Runner concept to "gauge consumer interest in a next-generation Frontier with a Cummins diesel engine."
The Titan, on the other hand, is expected to be introduced at the 2015 North American International Auto Show and will be offered with a 5.0-liter Cummins V8 turbodiesel engine that develops more than 300 bhp (223 kW) and 550 lb-ft (744 Nm) of torque.

Nissan has a tendency to do this here, sell the old gen alongside the new gen for a bit and sometimes for a long while....

We get the Navara here and it is far past it's sell-by date. Would really be wonderful if they replace it. The Navara, however could never come near its competition (read Toyota) as far as sales is concerned.

Looking forward to the next generation Hilux and i'm sure Taco owners and current/future potential Mid-Size truck owners are looking forward to the next gen Tacoma.

Don't want to labour the Navara, but here it is considered the truck of choice of the younger set who race each other loaded with mud caked dirt bikes from the white picket fence suburbs to the trail sites. Toyota is for the crowd who 'work' with their trucks.
