I did not imagine the speeds would be that much different between GT and F1. Thats like worlds apart.

wow, three f1 cars passed by in the time it took one GT car.

To be fair, isn't the Belgium GP one of the fastest tracks for f1?

F1 is lame to me. I know its the pinnacle blah blah blah but nobody ever passes . Its like watching slot cars run. With open wheel racing there is serious danger in passing and making contact so the battles are lame and the passing is rare. GT all the way baby !!

I like both GT and F1. Also a big fan of the V8 Super Sedans races in Austrailia like the Bathrust 500

Maybe it's the camera angle and position down track but the difference in driving lines is also interesting.

Cars racing around oval tracks more than a hundred times is considered exciting?

No offense dude........but imo, any form of oval track racing = the motorsport equivalent of watching paint dry

i never said its "exciting". i agree it is repetitive, but at least there's action on the race track. in f1, after the first lap, what really changes during the rest of the race......absolutely nothing. oh wait team orders. F1 outcome is so predictable.

what about nascar races at road coarse venues? you have to agree it's more entertaining than 1 race car every 4 seconds or more apart

F1 is like waiting for paint to dry.

Totally agre. I hate NASCAR but would rather watch it than F1......actually I would change the channel on both. Just dont see the appeal in watching F1 driver set blistering lap times but no battles. I do enjoy watching them take that perfect line through the corners but it gets old fast. NASCAR at least has crashes to look forward to. Im a GT fan all the way !!

In the end its all about what gets your automotive juices flowing . Watch what you love !!

I am a Formula 1 fan, but recent seasons have left me wanting more. RBR's dominance means all the other teams are fighting for second. There is more drama in the paddocks and the interview rooms than there is on the track. The tire situation was a joke at one point or another during the season. Only team orders have made it semi-interesting.

The move to turbocharged V6 engines next season may just be the proverbial the nail in the coffin. I'll still follow it, but it simply won't be the same.

[QUOTE=Vladi]You want GT speed?

Very cool, but that's not a GT-class car, it's a prototype-class car for WEC sports car endurance racing. GT cars are based on production cars.

Well back then it was called GT-One racing in LMPGT previously known as GT-1 class
