Love it, so similar to the S-class! Shame about that weird relationship with the C-pillar and roof though.

CLA gives off a very different look, in my opinion. This will certainly cause me to do a double take when it comes to the S-class comparison though- they really went for the downsizing theme here.

At least it doesn't get the ugly "diamond" grill of the CLA...

I wonder if the touch buttons at the base of the palm rest are proximity based. I would assume they are.

Those are odd bumper vents too...
The exterior is really a baby S class. I'll never be able to tell the C,E, or S coming toward me. I'm sure S owners won't be too fond of that lol.

It is a nice redesign of the C class though.

isn't that the point? common design branding?

well, an s class is a LOT bigger of course, and CLA is the fwd bulbous look.

I believe in similar design language like how Lexus and BMW does it. Lexus has the spindle grill with different design cues here and there to separate the different models but they all/will have that distinct grill. Same with BMW's kidney grills, angel eyes, etc. I feel the MB models are not different enough. Size shouldn't be the only thing that denotes the model.

also the rear window is weird since the sides protrude out of the C pillars
looking at it more, it seems like they used wrong reat window... it looks out of place.

Car looks sick. I absolutely love it. The vents are a little less desirable inside the cabin, but everything else looks flawless.

front looks awesome... luxury. profile looks bad - trunk is short, doesnt look like RWD car at all. Back looks great in most ways, like smaller S class but the rear window is weird... once you see it, it kind of sticks.

This C-class may have a chance to overtake the 3 series in Sales.
F30 3Series is one ugly car in base trim.

Really shocked how GREAT this car looks....nice job MB.
I would be pissed if I owned the new S-class though.

Looks better than the new 3 Series, that's for sure. Overall it looks decent, but at the same time nothing special. I was never a fan of this bulbous and strange headlight and taillight trend Mercedes has going on, and that hasn't changed. Also the side profile and rear window look out of proportion and makes the car stick out in a bad way.

Overall the biggest criticism for me remains the headlight/taillight styling. Replace that with more angular styling and the car would look far better in my opinion.
