off topic a little but I was reading reviews of the 2012 Rspec and people are very happy with that vehicle . I know a few here have bought the older model . Just curious how stiff the suspension is the Rspec?

not that I'm looking to buy right now but....I would definitely buy one over an ES...and would def cross-shop with GS.
I test drove 2015 genesis v6 it was actually very impressive that it drove like german cars. Even though its pretty heavy sedan it drove very smooth with lots of power but only thing i didnt like was the interior quality. Thats why I got 2014 gs350 fsport instead. Lexus interior is almost same level as benz and probably better than bmw and audi but this new genesis still used cheap plastics. Hope hyundai to use very high quality materials at least in the genesis and the equus.

How about improved. Hyundai is still playing the value card and 'very high quality materials' would inflate the price and negate the purpose. Would you get an Equus if it were the same price as a LS, A8, XJ, 7-Series or S-Class?

The genesis model generally used the wing badge since it started.

Did you test the base model V6 or top trim Ultimate? From my experience the difference is interior quality between the 2 trim levels is night and day.

Even in BMW's like the 5-Series (IMO) you gotta opt for the ceramic controls which make a huge difference.

Still, if you want the full neo–Lexus LS400 rolling-bank-vault experience, get the V-8.
Seeing that this is exactly what I'm looking for. Sounds like a car I should drive.

I am sure once the Genesis gets lowered and some decent pics were taken, it will show it's true beauty.
they just don't look right on that car IMO.

i think in that pic they're just too big and the offsets are off (and the car needs a drop).

Yeah I agree, its not the wheels so much as the wheels on that particular application.

Indeed, those qualities are becoming increasingly harder & harder to find in vehicles nowadays..

Default Hyundai's Toca Edition Genesis Twin-Turbo V8 for SEMA has 600HP

As one of Hyundai's latest arrivals, the new Genesis will be prominently represented at the SEMA Show, with the Koreans announcing their second tune today after the 550hp Ark Performance study.

Made in cooperation with Chicago-based design and customization firm Toka Marketing Group, the Steel Phoenix Genesis takes the stock 5.0-liter V8 and tacks on a Garrett twin turbo system complete with a full ARK Performance catback exhaust system, boosting output to 600hp.

The sedan also gets an AirRex digital air suspension system and sits lower to the ground on high performance Toyo rubber, shod in custom 21-inch COR 3-piece wheels, behind which you'll find a custom 8-piston front and 6-piston rear brake set up from Neo Motorsport.

To make it look the part, Toca fabricated an all-metal wide body design with matte and gloss black accents, with the body finished in steel metal paintwork. On the inside, the SEMA Genesis is said feature custom black leather seats with contrasting white stitching, carbon-fiber trims and a Rockford Fosgate sound system.
