in that last pic it looks like he's hiding the body of a paparazzi photographer.

If only! On a separate note, why do they bother to camo it when it is only a refresh?

Given the platform sharing between this and the Mercedes Benz CLA, it's quite possible that this Infiniti will come with a Renault 2.0 turbo charged engine. That doesn't bold well for reliability.
Note this Renault engine behind an Infiniti badge. Renault and unreliability are longtime bedfellows.

The primary engine will be 2.0L I4 turbo from Benz. The Renault motors that'll be making it in there will be small displacement ones used outside the US, just like the other small Benzes.

Ahhh, sorry. I was thinking of the QX50. This is how ridiculous all these Q names have gotten. And I've owned 9 Infinitis and have one now. Can't keep up with their nomenclature anymore.

No the engine blew right before it had the chance. And for the record, I only had a problem with Nissan when Renault brought their cancer of lower reliability to the table. No company should get a pass for that.

Everything you said is anecdotal, it holds no weight. Give me failure rates per 100,000 in comparison to the competition, then we can talk...

Undortunately, these owners may have thought the same thing. Boy were they wrong!

OK you've come into a Nissan-related thread as usual proclaiming [insert car here] is going to be a reliability disaster due to Renault. Can we move on now please?

Is there going to be a V6 option or is this a turbo4 only affair?
