Default Sticker on the drivers aide window

I just took delivery of a 13 GS f sport and the car is beautiful except for the ugly obstructive sticker in the drivers side window that says something to the extent of : "affix to drivers side interior window...". Does anyone know if it is okay to remove this??

This sticker is a huge safety hazard and it's laughable where it's placed. I pulled mine off immediately. Just be aware, it's going to leave some residue if the window is in the sun or warm. Do not put the window down with the sticky residue on, or it will catch on the rubber and plastic as the window goes up and down. Remove it with goo-be-gone, simple orange, or anything else that takes off stick things.

Welcome to CL, BTW, as a new poster.

Many states, BTW, don't allow stickers on window-glass execpt for those required by state safety-inspections. You have no choice but to take them off.

This is a California specific sticker that is affixed to cars, much like the warning tag on mattresses, etc. It warns of chemicals in the product. It can be removed by the consumer. But I still see tons of cars driving with them on.

True...state laws differ on the subject, and I'd expect almost anything out of California. Nothing there surprises me any more.

Those stickers are like the "do not remove" tags on a mattress - that warning applies to the vendor, not the purchaser.
