driverside window won't stay up

driverside window won't stay up
The window on the driver side made a funny noise when I rolled it down, and then it wouldn't go back up. I took off the door panel myself and played with it for a while and slid the window back up by hand. The window motor works just fine, but for some reason you can still move the window up and down by hand, and using the window switch won't put bring the window back up, only down.

Welcome to Club Lexus. I see that you have the old "my window wont go up anymore" problem. This topic has been discussed many times because it is a common problem with the SC. What you want to do is search up on what may have happened and what to do to make it right. Happy Search!
