I am hoping the Q60 coupe ( err I think ) will look amazing. If the sedan looks that good then I have high hopes.

Really looking forward to the Q60 now.
well if you go by that, then they can do long wheelbase version of Q50 and make it LS/A8/7 competitor :-)

I like the looks of Q50... its all right, maybe too much like some Nissan's but overall it looks fine... but next to it, GS looks classy premium sedan. And IS looks a lot more sportier.

The spindle grille is officially trademarked by Lexus.

The Q50 seems more like a BMW front end.

Both look more interesting than their segment rivals from BMW, MB or Audi.

I don't think the Q50 has a spindle. They're as different as they are similar.

And let's not forget the Essence showcar from 2009 which was the testbed for Infiniti's current design language

Lets see if the clowns at Concavo also copy this. I fell out laughing when I saw their orange Sienna on their ugly wheels at stock height as opposed to that crazy slammed Sienna you guys had. Initially the copying was annoying , but now its so obvious it ridiculous

whoa...I like the Q's headlights/LEDs/fogs better than the GS!! both nice tho

I think Infiniti did a great job on this car, last gen G37 always looked kind of soft to me.

That is a good shot of both cars thanks for sharing

I just got home from checking out the new Q50 and its a very very nice car. I am impressed to say the least. First of all I think the car looks very sharp. The front looks amazing with the styles grille and large lip giving the car a very sporty look. The body looks great. Masculine and modern without being over done. The interior is way ahead of the last gen G37 . The materials used are much better and the ergonomics are great. I loved the huge paddle shifters and small sporty steering wheel. What surprised me is how roomy the car is for the driver. I just stepped out of an LS and didn't feel cramped in any way while sitting in the drivers chair. I have to say after looking at the car for 10 minutes I think it is better looking than the new IS350 by a decent margin. The IS looks odd to me with the huge grille, odd side skirts , and tail lights that run down the side of the car. I think the interior in the q is just as nice as the IS but the IS has a sportier feel to the interior with the aluminum trim while the seats in the q look very sporty but the dash had wood on it. I think the aluminum trim may have jived better . The IS dash lay out is going to be class leading. Its by far the most impressive dash layout this side of the LF-A.The rear leg room in the Q50, like the IS, is a joke if you are over 6'3" and expect anyone other than a legless person to sit behind you if you drive with the seat all thee way back. I thought it was interesting that the loaded one I saw was 2k less then the one Blueprint posted. I guess it just regional variation.

Had to say I saw a q there that had a black sapphire pearl kind of paint like my old GS where it looked black but in direct light it looks deep purple . Kind of cool. I think the tail lights on the Q could have been a little more aggressive and it would be very cool if they offered the car with red leather . I plan on heading back this weekend for a test drive. I need to look at pricing but the hybrid I saw was only 3k more than the standard.
Not sure of that the case but if it is the. I think the hybrid would be the best choice with added power and better mpgs .

The Q definitely looks more modern than the GS but I like the IS better inside and out.

Bitkahuna

Though I should change my name for accuracy, I like the continuity of leaving it be.

The most active site I have found for the Q is Q50.org.

Over there I go with the underwhelming name of AWD.

how do you mean launch it in Europe? They are launching it in Europe... you can buy Infiniti in most European countries.... Q50 pricing is known:
