Huge improvement over the current one, I like what I am seeing inside and out, especially with the new interior though I still think the A8 has the nicest interior in class and there is something about the new 7 series that really appeals to me. They are definitely going for a more classic luxury look for the interior in the new S class and it works.

I agree 100% MB has raised the bar in the Flagship class and present on amazing car!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. With that in mind there is only one thing I like about this new S class and that is the front. It is beautiful, but I personally think the back of this car looks really ugly and doesn't suit, the interior to me looks over designed. I don't doubt the quality of course but there is too much going on. Personally I prefer the "less is more" design of the LS and the 7 series.

Spectacular video. I have a newfound respect for the S-Class and MBZ. The bar has been set and the LS and the rest of them have to jump high to reach this level

Make you wonder if its competition really can compete. Only flaw in this car i see are those screens in back that just screams aftermarket. Tacky approach imo. Nevertheless, this will remain the pinnacle of full-size, tier 1 luxury. And the fact that a new LS, 7, A8 isn't due for at least another two years gives it a even bigger advantage.

Why? The strut is only $2k each and they last 50k miles, totally reasonable

Then there are pump, lines...........$15k every 50k miles is not bad, no?

The next-gen LS has a good chance at being a more impressive car. We'll see soon.

Still not a big fan of the interior design, but materials quality is top notch. Technology on it is top notch, although I hate that gauge cluster design. The exterior is also one of the nicest among the ugly new Mercedes exteriors.
