I actually don't care for that refresh front. I think it looks boxier than the current front which I don't think is as elegant.

I'll have to wait and see an uncamo'ed one.

Amazing what a zoomed in photo, camo'd headlights, and a covered front bumper can do.

You can see the overall shape and lines of the front though

...which are the same. That's my point. The hood is the same, the fenders over the wheels are the same, shutlines are the same. The headlights are getting new internal graphics as you can see and there's a new front bumper design which is covered. Oh, and the S600 grille is now the standard one. The biggest departure you can see right now is the lack of sculpting on the front bumper directly under the headlight which is present on the current model.

I don't agree. The headlights have a little more of a point up toward the outward corners that give the front a squarer look along with more pronounced edges on the corners of the bumper underneath the headlights. The headlights also appear smaller and squarer on top of the smoother look under the headlights you mention which makes the front look flatter.

I really think the current headlight's internal graphics and super zoomed in photos are fooling but you, but again I guess we'll see when the hood part #'s show up and the final pics are released.

Ha. Reminds me of the CLS pre and post facelift.

Sorry to continue this conversation into the ridiculous range, but I actually just realized something. The headlights are definitely the same size/shape for the facelift model. This is a late stage cooling validation mule which means the air cut outs and bumper fittings are final, hence the camo. The facelift headlights and taillights (which will gain the stardust effect) have to fit into those exact same cutouts.

I understand that the cutouts are the same, thats not unusual because its cheaper to use the same fender stampings, but the headlights are 3D objects, and the shape of the lens cover does change. Nose on that still looks squarer and flatter to me. Sorry...you don't have to agree with me thats just my opinion.
