Bentley got water damaged

Someone at Bentley should just buy the car back from the insurance company, strip it down, rebuild the interior and offer it back to the market at an attractive "certified pre-owned" price. Keeps the car out of the shady market, where it could do more damage to the brand depending on where it ends up.

Hence the strip it down comment. Obviously some components need to be replaced, but anything sealed and watertight can be re-used. Surprisingly, most people don't know, but as long as the connectors are sealed (either through a watertight connection or through a grease) the wiring harnesses can all be re-used. Bentley should be able to do a full refurb on this for way less than the cost of building a new car and then re-sell at a profit.

From my understanding, flooded vehicles are considered salvaged and who wants to buy a salvaged Bentley? Not to mention how rusty the engines will be in the years to come
Sad to see things like this happen. I would be speechless if that was my car, but happy and excited to be getting a 13' !
