Interesting, I probably wouldn't pick any out of the list for a every day driver. If I could add one, I'd put the Cadillac CTS-V sedan on the list. It's powerful, can be purchased in a manual, and it's roomy? If I had a second choice, I'd pick up TEELEX's 1.000 plus SC for 35k...and pocket or invest the other $15k! lol

If you can swing the stupidly high maintenance bills, more power to you. The engine revs to a stupidly high 8500rpms and is a real powerhouse, 375hp out of 3.5 liters of displacement. Plus IMO its just drop dead sexy to look at.
If you want something more reasonable with a similar look(ie it won't bleed you dry when it goes in for service), get an NSX. The v6 revs again to a stupid 8000rpms, the handling is delightful, and its so much more reliable/cheaper to own. Granted its kind of slug with about 100hp less, but there are supercharger and turbo kits if you really want to go faster.

355's are not very good mid life crisis cars unless you have a big separate bank account for maintenance and fixing things or learn how to do things yourself. The 355 can cost over 10K a year just to maintain, replace things that go bad, do a expensive repair, they had numerous trouble spots that can cost a lot to fix. A cam/timing belt change requires the engine to be taken out which costs several thousand dollars, it has to be done more often then every 90K miles too(at least every 30K from what I have heard and often sooner), most engine work and servicing will require the engine to be pulled from the car. If something catastrophic goes wrong like a transmission or engine failure it can cost well over $25K to fix/replace.
They are not daily drivers, they are difficult to get into and out of, are uncomfortable to sit in, and leg room is a issue for someone over 5 10.
They do look and sound great though.
At least with the 360 and later v8 Ferrari's you don't have to remove the engine just for a cam/timing belt change or most engine maintenance.
