I saw an interesting thread on the IS-F section where someone wanted to see the age of IS-F drivers and when they bought their car. Well I want to know the same for the GS! I would think most younger people go with the IS/IS-F over GS, but lets see!

I'll start! So my mom bought the GS first for her but always hinted it for me. After my first year in college she handed it down to me and we switched cars(Toyota Landcrusier, also theirs). I was 19 1/2. Yes, I didn't pay for it, but I have been working with my parents at our business for YEEEAAARRSSS. Now with 2 businesses I pretty much take care of them both, along with baby sitting my younger brother. At 21, now 22, they party/gamble and I stay home!

 

Bought last year @ 29. It was my bday gift to myself and paid off cash!

 

24years old. came from a long line of sportscars. decided im getting too old for street racing nonsense

 

30 going on 24 lol!!!

 

bought my car 3 years ago at 24yrs old. you do the math

 

45 but look 35 and feel 25

 

Btw I ve had mine for 3 years!

 

27 when I bought Second Gen GS
31 now for my Third Gen GS

 

Bought mine 6 months ago, but use to have LS400 (RIP 2010) since 1986 @ age 26..

 

I would like to add how many of you bought it in cash, how many bought it on credit, and how many still owe money on it along with the age. I bet there are some definite correlations to those figures, except for the cases where you guys got free cars.....

My first car was a Ford Taurus which was my mothers and I didn't even get that for free, I had to pay for the book value for it! No silver spoons here...

As for me, I bought the car when I was 29 and paid for it in cash. :P

Bought it at 31, 3yo CPO about 1/3 cash down, financed the rest.

 

My mom still paying off $900 a month until july next year. In which time I get no toys for myself only for her.

 

Bought my 2Gen @ 25.
35 now and bought my 2006 5 years ago, OG owner.
