With many websites and forums trying to capitalize on the popularity of upcoming models like the 2014 Toyota Corolla, one can never be sure about genuineness of pictures floating around the net these days.

We've already seen renderings of Toyota's compact sedan model trying to be passed on as real photos, so understandably, we're not going to jump into any conclusions yet about this new image that was sent to us by Miro Mihalik from the Czech website Autoweb. Miro said that it is the first picture of the European specification Corolla.

We'll remind you that Toyota will lift the covers off the new generation Corolla on Thursday at a world premiere event in California.

Toyota itself released additional teaser photos of the Corolla this week on a dedicated website named "Let's go places" where it asks viewers to vote on their favorite cropped image – yes, it's as fun as it sounds….
