I got a friend who has a C6, it's been reliable. Corvette engine is pretty reliable in general. I'm not sure about electrical stuff, but I say Corvette is a more reliable American car.

I bought a used 2006 C6 and had zero issues in 2 years.

Good thing about Corvettes (GM products) -- the GMPP (GM Protection Plans) are crazy cheap! Just look online for quotes. this is from BELLGMPP.COM

Note these start from the day/mileage at which they are purchased, not from day 1 and mile 1.

When will we start seeing overseas exports for the 7th gen Corvette? (to territories outside of North America)

I definitely want to see this thing in Philippine soil.........and man, even if the traffic here is disgustingly terrible, I would still want to drive that 7 speed manual stickshift

Not doable. There are only 2 parts that are the same on the C7 as the C6, it's all New.
The last few years of the C6 did not sell good (units were down to less than 1/2 what they were when the C6 first came out) so you could get a Great discount on a C6.
Maybe in 5 or 6 years you could get a 15+% off sticker on a C7.

I ordered one equipped as shown below and paid MSRP.
Total price with Tax came to $68,886.

Stingray Coupe w/Z51
2LT Equipment group
Body color carbon fiber roof
Automatic
Gyber Gray Metallic
Kalahari interior
Magnetic Select Ride
Dual Mode Performance Exhaust
Navigation System

Ordered, should have by end of Sept.

So far, I am not a fan of this car's appearance. But I look forward to your review once you get it.

And have you really owned 100+ cars?

I will post back with photos and a review when I get it.

Yes this will be my 101 car, but only my 4th. Corvette.
I started to keep a written list of my cars after my 10th.car back in 1962.

wow 52k, not a bad price. I'd be all over than vs a 80k nissan GTR for sure.

the corvette design does look a bit too busy. Too many body lines. They should have reduced some of the light creases. it's just way too busy..But hey for 52k for a car like that, that's a steal! The car literally looks like a ferrari / NSX killer for a fraction of the price!

Have you searched around Corvette forum? Many dealers have base car $1000 off MSRP right off the bat.

P.S. I'm talking about brand new 2014 car that will sit in the lot and be replaced by 2015 MY around September.

Wow, that's a lot of cars to say the least. Thanks for posting that interesting list.

So, which one was your favorite, and which one did you dislike the most...and why?

And how many have you owned at one time? 5? 10? 15?

Yes I have been searching the Corvette forum for the last 5 months.
Of the 1,600 Chev. dealers only 600 Dealers will get at least one C7 in the first 6-9 month period. If you pick a dealer with a small allotment all their C7 are sold before now. Yes a few Dealers were given $500.-$1,000 off,
I do not think they have any C7's left to sell for the first 6-9months which ends March 31,2014.
I wanted to get the C7 before Nov.2013, so I picked the Dealer with largest allotment. I did not mind paying MSRP to have the car in the first two months of release.

If when the 2015's come to dealers and IF they have 2014,s left you will get a few K off . I don't think they will get stuck with many 2014's
