Brabus doesn't make FORMULA 1 CARS! Were you guys asleep for the past year? This isn't a 'tuner shop', the aerodynamics aren't tacked on. They used their industry best windtunnel to shape the car. The funny thing is 'beige' comments. Like I said, where have you guys been? lol, it's the same car that's been running around the Nurburgring since August of 2011.
yeah, they dont get it :-).
last time we had people saying how turboing cars isnt easy... i was like... its TMG... they built Formula 1 cars from scratch.
TMG has heritage and knowledge up there with the best of them. From winning WRC to building F1 cars.
The Brabus comment was based on the visual alterations (hood, fender flares, front quarter panel vents, front bumper, CF side skirts, CF spoiler on the trunk) and the drivetrain upgrades.

yeah... nothing against you bro.
Just saying... you have F1 maker working on LS. 2 years ago they built F1 cars. Today they are building LS650 and Le Mans racers. Literally the same guys. They used their own wind tunnel that Ferrari uses to test their F1 cars.
Brabus, AMG, even M Sport division... they dont do that.
it appears and i'm assuming the 5.0 used was the 2ur-gse. now, if toyota/lexus would only allow 3rd party tuners the chance to tune the current is-f's here in the states!
Well, I wasn't expecting it to be different from the 2011 test vehicle until yesterday. I guess the teasers were posted for a reason, as initially I didn't understand why they had issued teasers for an already seen vehicle. I'd say if this is approved by March, don't expect this powertrain to remain. It could be easily improved through development into 2015 and being sold in 2015-2016 as a 2016 model.
No matter what anyone says, the next LS will be in driveways within the next 30 months and nothing will change that unless Lexus wants to lose sales and prestige. If they want to be taken more seriously, they truly need to invest in a production performance-oriented LS. The LS F-Sport is an okay start, but only as a precursor. They have the investment funds, so there's no excuse to not go through with it

no one's arguing that. We all know the 13 LS was refreshed to the point that it could soldier on for two years while they work on the next ground breaking LS

Yep, none of you have absurdly insinuated otherwise. I'm actually referring to someone in particular who stupidly claimed that the next LS would debut at the "2014 Tokyo Auto Show"/2015 NAIAS and then got "b*tchy when I told them that was an impossibility as the "Tokyo Motor Show" in is November 2013, not 2014. I was also "told" that Lexus didn't waste money on a "14 month cycle" for the facelift, which is inapplicable since new LS models usually go on sale 8-9 months after debuting at NAIAS, meaning about a sufficient total of 21+ months of production on the new LS facelift. I know that people lurk on CL, so I'm sure that "DB"(switch the initials) will come through here & anyone else who disagrees.
