Quote: What are you talking about? Extra $5k-$10k for what? Yes it is, its basically the same Camry that we get here but the Asian/European model has different headlights and taillights.

Those headlight and taillights will probably be on a future Camry.Maybe a midcycle refresh which would improve the look of the Camry,IMO.

I think with the JDM headlights/taillight it looks more like the old ES350.

Have you any idea whatsoever the cost of the JDM Camry? Look it up for yourself. It looks more upscale, because in other countries, it is considered in an upscale class, unlike here.

I had driven both my friends' 2008 Taiwanese Camry and 2010 American Camry in Cambodia. American Camry drives better at highspeed despite the fact that the interior is cheaper. Engine found in American Camry is bulletproof, where the one found in Taiwanese Camry is less reliable. The price of oversea Camry is higher because of the import tax. However, optional features like Nav, Bluetooth are cheaper in Asian Camry.
They are basically the same car with different front/rear and interior. It's strange that American Camry drives noticeably better.
