"Some neighbors recently traded in a BMW 3-series for a $44,000 Chevrolet Volt and couldn’t be happier. And why not? The Volt was a steal: $159 a month on a two-year lease, with no money down. That’s what you’d pay to lease a stripped-down Toyota Corolla, not a piece of advanced technology.
$159. No deposit. And no gas? Sign me up..."

a little deceiving....later in the article it says.....'My friends used $3,000 in rewards from a GM credit card (5% back on purchases, which can be applied toward the purchase or lease of a GM vehicle) toward their deposit, and then received an unexpected $1,000 discount, no doubt a dealer bonus incentive'.
