i have no idea Volt can be this cheap.. i should drive to the dealer lot and get myself one right now.

"Some neighbors recently traded in a BMW 3-series for a $44,000 Chevrolet Volt and couldn’t be happier. And why not? The Volt was a steal: $159 a month on a two-year lease, with no money down. That’s what you’d pay to lease a stripped-down Toyota Corolla, not a piece of advanced technology.

$159. No deposit. And no gas? Sign me up..."

Advanced technology that isn't very appealing to the eyes, not to mention may catch fire hah

I think the Volt looks pretty damn good.

a little deceiving....later in the article it says.....'My friends used $3,000 in rewards from a GM credit card (5% back on purchases, which can be applied toward the purchase or lease of a GM vehicle) toward their deposit, and then received an unexpected $1,000 discount, no doubt a dealer bonus incentive'.

The deal ended September 4. I was able to get a 24 month lease about two months ago. Apparently, the 24 month lease had a 5700 CCR which has now been reduced.
